Matthew Peleszok Running a London Marathon followed by 20hr 12min Challenge

Geddington CC player Matthew Peleszok is running the London marathon followed by a 20hrs 12min challenge!

http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/matthew2012

On the 22nd April he will be undertaking the Virgin London Marathon followed by on the 28th April he will be running, walking and crawling for 20hrs 12 minutes to celebrate both the London Olympics but also to raise money for two great charities.

In total that will be over 24 hours of activity for Matt.

With this in mind he is asking on two fronts

1)    To ask for your sponsorship

2)    To ask if you can donate a raffle price. For every person who donates £5 or multiples of they will be entered into a price draw. Last year I obtained prices such as signed saints shirt, weekend breaks, local vouchers for stores, local restaurant vouchers and many more great prizes.

You may be asking why am I doing this? I am doing it for two reasons, one to support the Ron Pickering Memorial Trust which is supporting my marathon run.

The Fund is dedicated to assisting aspiring young athletes who have shown by their attitude and dedication that they possess the qualities which will ensure the growth and protection of sport. This is a cause close to my heart through my commitment to athletics locally and nationally.

Also for Cancer Research UK which is helping both my parents in their fight with cancer as well as my granddad who was recently diagnosed as well.

Any donation you may wish to make towards helping the next generation of athletes to succeed or to help prevent cancer will be gratefully received.
